Printer flashing error code OXB8047B30 and reboots haven’t fixed. See a lot of references on the community but not seen anyone reference a solution that they say lasts more than 30 mins. Printer only 12 months old. Anyone know whether HP know the problem and the fix?

this is what I was told to do, but it did not work for me.

An oxb8047b30error code displays on the printer control panel, and the printer does not respond.

To resolve the issue, reset the printer, and then turn off IPv6 through the Setup menu on the control panel.

Step 1: Reset the printer

To temporarily clear the error, reset the printer.

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.

  2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.

  3. Wait 60 seconds.

  4. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.

Step 2: Turn off IPv6

Use the control panel to turn off the IPv6 setting.

  1. From the home screen on the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, and then touch Setup

  2. Touch Network Setup, and then touch Advanced Settings.

  3. Turn off IPv6, and then touch Yes to confirm.
