Printer is telling me there is an issue with my printer or inks and contact HP. Absolutely getting no where as you can't actually contact HP. I think the printer has a chip in it to lockdown so you have to go out and buy another. Think Ill be going for a Brother next time. !!!!

Hi @Rubbish7,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
That sounds frustrating. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue with your HP printer.
Check Ink Cartridges:
- Ensure that the ink cartridges are properly installed and not empty. Sometimes, removing and reinstalling them can help.
Printer Status and Warnings:
- Look for any specific error codes or messages on the printer's display or software. These can often provide clues about the issue.
Clean Printhead:
- Many HP printers have a built-in printhead cleaning function. Check your printer's settings or software for this option.
Reset Printer:
- Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer model. You can usually find this on HP's support website.
Check for Software Issues:
- Ensure that the printer software and drivers are up to date. Reinstalling the printer software might also help.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
