Hello All,

Suddenly my printer is not working at all (even for scanning) and I am getting the below error " There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Press OK to try to recover. If problem persists turn printer off, then on.

Contact HP if you continue to get this message. 0x6100006."

I have already tried everything said above. Also replace the cartridges, however I am still receiving the same error.

Can someone help me please?

I'd like to help!

 

I understand you are facing a "problem with the printer or ink system error"

 

Try the below suggestions -

 

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

 Try the steps in the document --Printhead errors

 

If the issue persists, I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer
