Hi @rich564

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The 0xc19a0013 error is related to an issue with the printer's ink system. This error typically appears when there is a problem with the printhead, ink cartridges, or the printer's internal ink system. It can happen on many HP printers, and there are several troubleshooting steps you can follow to fix it.

Steps to Fix Printer Error 0xc19a0013:

1. Turn off and Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer using the power button.
  • Unplug the printer from the power source and leave it unplugged for at least 30 seconds.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on again. This can sometimes reset the printer's internal systems and clear temporary errors.

2. Check Ink Cartridges

The error could be due to a problem with one of the ink cartridges.

  • Turn off the printer and open the ink cartridge access door.
  • Remove the ink cartridges and inspect them for any visible issues like:
    • Leaks or ink residue.
    • Damage to the cartridges.
    • Clogged printhead or cartridge nozzles.
  • Clean the ink cartridge contacts and printhead using a soft, lint-free cloth. Make sure there is no dust, ink build-up, or debris blocking the contacts.
  • Reinstall the ink cartridges, ensuring they are properly seated.

3. Perform a Printer Reset

If a power cycle doesn't resolve the issue, you can reset the printer to its default settings:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Press and hold the “#” and “9” buttons on the printer’s keypad (if it has one).
  • While holding the buttons, turn the printer back on.
  • Release the buttons once the printer starts resetting.

4. Run the Printer’s Cleaning Cycle

Sometimes the printhead gets clogged, especially if the printer has not been used in a while.

  • Go to the printer’s settings via the control panel or the HP Smart app and look for the clean printhead option. Run the cleaning cycle to remove any blockages in the ink nozzles.

I hope this helps.
