@Pricey68, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Envy 6010 printer

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP Envy 6010 printer is displaying an 'E' error code, it typically indicates a specific problem related to printer functionality. Here are some general troubleshooting steps that can help resolve the issue:

Power Reset: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about a minute, and then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Paper Jam: Open the printer doors and check for any paper jams or obstructions in the paper path. Remove any jammed paper gently to avoid damaging the printer.

Inspect Ink Cartridges: Ensure the ink cartridges are correctly installed. Remove and reinsert them to ensure they are seated properly.

Connection Issues: Check all connections between the printer and your computer. Make sure the USB cable or wireless connection is properly established.

Firmware Update: Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for firmware updates on the HP Support site by entering your printer model.

Hard Reset: Press and hold the ‘Power’ button for 10 seconds to perform a hard reset.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
