I keep getting a “printer failure” error code 0x6100004a every time I start up my printer. I’ve tried unplugging it, waiting, turning it on and off, etc. I’ve done all the basic stuff but nothing works. This printer is only 2 years old. I tried chatting with a virtual agent but that was literally pointless, they don’t help at all, wouldn’t connect me to a real person because my warranty is expired so I’m stuck with a broken printer. This is ridiculous. If I hadn’t of bought it myself I’d throw it away and get a new one, but I can’t so I need assistance on how to fix it.

@Emilynic38, Welcome to HP Support Community!

If you have already performed the steps from the document '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Code Displays and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hope this helps!
