HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer
macOS 12.0 Monterey

I recently bought the Macbook Air with the M1 chip. Now I get the Printer Stopped Filter message on my LaserJet Pro P1102w Printer. There is a driver available, which requires the downloading of Rosetta. I did this but apparently my version of Monterey is too new and that's as far as I got. There is no option for the 12.2 version of Monterey. What would be my next step? FYI: I'm not very computer savvy. Thank you.

@pdubya, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I see that you are not able to print from your Mac due to this error. The printer driver available on the HP Support site for macOS 12 also holds good for macOS 12.2

  • This printer supports WPA encryption, check if the router is on the same encryption method. If using WEP or WPA-PSK+FT change it to WPA-PSK
  • Have you installed the printer using AirPrint driver or HP Smart app?
  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like PDF, Word, or Webpages and check if the issue persists?

Update the printer firmware

Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your Mac.

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Also, check for any software updates on Mac

Click the Apple icon > About This Mac > Software Update and install any available update.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
