Hi @LoriLynn66,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand your HP Tango printer is displaying a red "X" and printing blank pages, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot:

Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the ink cartridges are not empty. You might need to replace them if they are low.

Check for Cartridge Issues:

  • Reinstall Cartridges: Remove and reinstall the ink cartridges. Make sure they are seated properly.
  • Clean Contacts: Wipe the contacts on the cartridges and inside the printer with a lint-free cloth.

Printhead Cleaning:

  • Use the printer’s built-in printhead cleaning function. This option is usually found in the printer settings or maintenance menu.

Check for Paper Jams: Ensure there are no paper jams or obstructions inside the printer.

Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers:

  • Go to the HP website and download the latest drivers for your printer model. Reinstall them on your computer.

Reset the Printer:

  • Power off the printer and unplug it from the power source. Wait a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Check Printer Settings:

  • Make sure you are using the correct paper size and type settings in your printer preferences.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
