@Davisjk02, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP Envy 7858 Stuck on Startup Screen!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP Envy 7858 printer is stuck on the startup screen despite trying a hard reset, here are several steps you can follow to troubleshoot this issue:

Check Power Supply:

  • Ensure that the power cable is securely connected to both the printer and the power outlet.
  • Verify that the outlet is providing power by connecting a different device.

Reboot the Printer:

  • Power off the printer using the power button.
  • Unplug the printer from the power source.
  • Wait for approximately 60 seconds before plugging it back in.
  • Turn the printer back on and check if the issue persists.

Firmware Update:

  • Confirm if your printer's firmware needs an update. You might need to connect your printer to your laptop directly via a USB cable and check for firmware updates using HP's support software or website.

Check Connections:

  • Disconnect any USB connections and reconnect them securely.
  • Try using a different USB cable if the current one seems faulty.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
