Hi
I am printing from an HP computer utilizing Windows 2007 and Microsoft Word 2010.
I am printing scripted text to an HP C4180 printer, but the tails on the letters y or g or f are either very faint or absent.
I have tried best versus normal quality, but that doesnt do anything. Also tried some minimal line spacing without affect.
Looking for some more ideas to try. Thanks

The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve the missing lower decenders when printing black text. If the black portion of the test pattern is missing regular blocks of the nozzle pattern then removing the black cartridge and cleaning the cartridge and printer contacts as shown in the document here may help resolve the issue.
