I have installed new color cartridges in my printer as well as downloaded and installed the latest software and drivers for my printer. However, the printer does not print color -- only prints black and white. I have tried all of the troubleshooting measures, including uninstalling and reinstalling the software and drivers, as well as cleaning and aligning the printheads. Nothing works. The printer will not print color.
In one diagnostic test report, the report shows that new ink was installed on 7/1/2020 but the ink level for the color supply show E, which I take to mean empty. No color is shown for the three color jets. HELP!

If you have already performed the steps from the document Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Thanks for your response. The observation that I probably have a hardware failure problem is likely valid. I've decided to scrap the printer and purchase a new one. It isn't worth the cost to repair the old one.
