Hi @Pavan11K,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error code OXB806ABF4 on your HP OfficeJet 5258 printer typically indicates a problem with the printer’s internal firmware or a system issue. This error could be triggered by several factors, such as a corrupted firmware update, a hardware malfunction, or a failed reset.

To resolve this issue, try the following steps.

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for 30 seconds, then plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Ensure your printer's firmware is up-to-date. If it's not, update the firmware using the HP Smart app or by visiting the HP Support website.

Perform a Hard Reset:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the wall.
  • Hold the power button for 30 seconds to drain any residual power.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Check for Paper Jams or Hardware Issues:

  • Inspect the printer for any paper jams, foreign objects, or loose connections inside.

Reinstall the Printer Software:

  • Uninstall the printer drivers from your computer and reinstall the latest version from HP’s website.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
