Printer stuck in copy mode - have tried a factory reset but goes back into copy mode as soon as back on

Hi @kellie30,

 

Thanks for sharing the product number. 

 

Close the Scan/Copy lid and cancel all Copy indicators. The printer resets to standby. Launch any scan app with the lid closed and no documents on glass and the Envy carries out a blank overview scan using all apps. Open lid to insert the document and the Envy immediately defaults to Copy mode and disables the scan function again.

 

What is the OS you are using?

 

You may also refer to this document for further assistance to isolate the issue to see if its a hardware issue.
