Hi @Freesia610,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It seems like your HP OfficeJet Pro 8022 printer is displaying a blue screen with a code, which typically indicates an internal error or a firmware issue.

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to resolve this issue.

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, then plug the printer back in and turn it on again.
  • Check if the blue screen clears.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • If the blue screen persists, check for any firmware updates. You can update the firmware by connecting the printer to the internet and using the HP Smart app or the printer’s control panel if the display becomes functional again.

Factory Reset: If the issue persists and you're unable to access the printer settings, a factory reset may be necessary:

  • To factory reset: While the printer is on, press and hold the Cancel and Wireless buttons simultaneously for about 10-15 seconds.
  • The printer will reset to its original settings, and you can set it up again.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
