Whenever I try to print something from my officejet printer it just shuts off. I tried to print from multiple devices but it just does the same thing. The day before everythting was working fine so I'm not sure what the problem is. If anyone has had a similar problem or has a suggestion on how to fix this problem, it would be much appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the HP Forums!
Well this could have been because of Auto Off feature in printer.
The printer shuts down after a specific time that has been setup to save electricity. It is also called as Energy Saving Mode.
Steps : Check to see if Schedule Off is enabled
Follow these steps to set up the Schedule On/Off feature, or to check the current settings.
1.On control panel, touch the Right Arrow , and then touch the Setup icon.
2.Touch Schedule On/Off.
3.Touch Schedule Off.
•If Schedule Off is enabled and you want to turn it off, touch Disable.
Voila! you're done.

If the printer is connected to a USB Power Supply the initial power surge on the HP printer is quite large. The UPS will trip a circuit breaker and turn the printer power outlet off. I had this problem and it's easily fixed. Plug the printer directly into a wall outlet or another power source other than the USB. The printer tries to wake up and print all at once and with many USB Power supplies, the initial power demands are enough to trip the overload sensors. Hope this helps
