deskjet 2700 series

I have had this printer for about a year and I have only used it a few times ( I bought it for college) now my printer will not print black ink properly, it prints the words but in a very transparent green color as if it were running out of ink. My printer screen says I had full ink and I did not use it very often last year so it should not be out of ink. Please help!

@auroraf

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand that your HP printer is not printing black ink, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Are you able to make copies from the printer?
  • Are you printing from your phone or computer?
  • What is the operating system?

Keep me posted for further assistance.
