Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums.
Thank you for posting on HP Forums, MKazi is at your service.
I understand that you have an HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 2135 All-in-One Printer and it does not print. The paper comes out blank. Not worry, I'll do my best to help you.
To assist you better, I would like to know the following information:
- Are you using original HP ink cartridges or refilled ink?
- Are the ink levels good?
- Is the printer able to make a photocopy? If yes then it indicates that the printer and ink cartridges are fine.
- Have you attempted to print from multiple applications?
Meanwhile, I did some research and suggest you to perform the following steps to fix this issue:
- Disconnect the power cable from the printer while the printer is still ON.
- Disconnect any other cables if connected the printer.
- Press and hold the printer’s power button for 15 seconds.
- The printer should be directly connected to the wall outlet and not to a surge protector.
- Reconnect the power cable to print and the printer should power ON by itself. If the printer doesn’t power ON then please manually power it ON.
In case the printer is unable to make a photocopy then you may perform the following steps from this HP document. These steps help in fixing various print quality issues:
- Step 8: Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Page.
- Step 9: Examine the black and color blocks for defects.
- Step 11: Manually clean the area around the ink nozzles.
A successful photocopy points towards a software issue. Please download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor software. This is a free tool for Windows to help resolve issues with the printer drivers.
I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Please feel free to let me know how it goes. All the best! 🙂
