Hi, I’ve tried printing from my phone but not working. I did a test print from the printer and that prints fine. Not sure what’s going on. If I try to print thru the HP Print app, the print option doesn’t light up for me to select it and if I print thru my photos, it lets me tap print but nothing prints

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8025 All-In-One Printer not printing from your iOS device, follow these steps:
1. Ensure the Printer and iOS Device are on the Same Network
- Confirm that both your printer and iOS device are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Go to the printer's settings to verify its network connection.
- On your iOS device, go to Settings > Wi-Fi to check that you are connected to the correct network.
2. Check Printer Status and HP Smart App
- Open the HP Smart app on your iOS device.
- Make sure the printer is listed and shows as ready.
- If the printer is not listed, tap the "+" sign to add your printer.
3. Update Firmware and App Update the firmware on an HP printer
- Ensure that your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can do this through the HP Smart app:
- Open the HP Smart app, select your printer, and look for an option to update the firmware.
- Update the HP Smart app to the latest version via the App Store.
- Update your iOS device to the latest iOS version: Settings > General > Software Update.
4. Reset Printer Connection
- Power off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
- Restart your router by unplugging it for 30 seconds and then plugging it back in.
- Plug in and turn on your printer, allowing it to reconnect to the Wi-Fi.
5. Reset Network Settings on iOS Device
- On your iOS device, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. (Note: This will reset your Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN/APN settings.)
- Reconnect to your Wi-Fi network after the reset.
6. Reinstall HP Smart App
- Delete the HP Smart app from your iOS device.
- Restart your iOS device.
- Reinstall the HP Smart app from the App Store.
7. AirPrint Troubleshooting
- Ensure AirPrint is enabled on the printer.
- From the printer control panel, navigate to Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Settings > AirPrint and ensure it is turned on.
- Try printing directly from an app that supports AirPrint (e.g., Safari, Mail, Photos).
- Open the document or photo you want to print.
- Tap the Share icon (a square with an arrow pointing up).
- Select Print, choose your printer, and tap Print.
8. Test Another App
- Try printing from a different app to see if the issue is app-specific.
- If you have another iOS device available, try printing from that device to see if the issue is specific to your iPhone/iPad.
9. Check for Printer Errors
- Check the printer's display panel for any error messages or alerts.
- Resolve any displayed issues before attempting to print again.
