HI @Zain51,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP LaserJet 135A printer is not initializing and the screen is showing nothing, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
1. Check Power Connection
- Ensure the Power Cable is Secure: Make sure the power cable is firmly connected to both the printer and the power outlet.
- Try a Different Outlet: Plug the printer into a different wall outlet to rule out issues with the power source.
2. Inspect the Power Cable
- Check the power cable for any visible damage. If possible, try using a different power cable that is compatible with your printer.
3. Reset the Printer
- Unplug the Printer: Disconnect the power cable from the printer and wall outlet.
- Wait: Leave it unplugged for about 1-2 minutes.
- Reconnect: Plug the power cable back in and turn the printer on.
4. Check for Obstructions
- Open the printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions inside. Sometimes, a jam can prevent the printer from initializing properly.
5. Listen for Sounds
- When you power on the printer, listen for any unusual sounds like grinding or clicking, which may indicate internal hardware issues.
6. Examine the Display
- If the display is completely blank, it may indicate a power issue or a hardware fault. If you see any lights blinking, refer to the printer's manual for troubleshooting those specific error indicators.
7. Firmware Reset (if possible)
- Some HP printers have a factory reset option. Refer to the user manual or HP support website for instructions on how to perform a reset.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
