Printer DeskJet 4130e

I have experienced a few instances of the printer going offline with all the lights flashing. Requires a power off/on to reset error situation. Has occurred every week or so since November. Cannot get self diagnosis as printer is offline.

Hello,

Couldn't find any situation that matched my error. All lights flash including power. After a reset everything is fine for a week or so. No problems with ink or paper.

The glitch is not random. I have been noting when the problem occurs. Since making notes the problem occurred on 2/12, 11/12, 20/12, 29/12. As you see it happens every 9 days. This must be significant. What process occurs every 9 days? I feel that HP should take a note of the problem but I don't know how to raise a problem. I will probably get further notification from HP as I have an Instant Ink account. Earlier in the year I had a short vacation and turned everything off. I got an email from HP saying with Instant Ink I must keep the printer connected to the internet. When this problem arises the printer is disconnected. When I next go on a vacation of more than 9 days HP will not be able to access the printer.
