Printer only printing 5x7 in

All of a sudden my printer refuses to print in any size other than 5x7.

If I go to the HP Smart app Settings and have 'Automatically Detect Paper' selected the printer always 'detects' 5x7 paper, event though it always has letter sized paper in the printer. If I click OFF 'Automatically Detect Paper' in the Settings and select letter paper before printing it will block the print.

If not already done,

Try setting the default size in the Embedded Web Server (EWS) for each of small, medium, large paper.

Reminder

HP Smart - Mobile - requires that Paper Size & Type be adjusted before content is opened to be printed.

EWS – Browser – Tray and Paper Management

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper (Management)

Select / Adjust settings for Paper Size / Type

Click Apply to save changes
