Product: HP Officejet Pro 8600 e-All-in-One Printer - N911a
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This issue arose when the power cord was disconnect (accidentally), without shutting the printer down in the normal manner (through using the power button).

 

As a result, the printer only turns on when the power cord is removed and re-inserted, however the power button itself seems to be disabled and is not illuminated green when the printer is on, nor does it respond to pushing it.

 

How do I fix this?

This could be a hardware issue with the printer, I would personally suggest you contact our HP Support.

Make sure you select the Country and Region.
