Hi @Kelley62,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer is printing blank pages even though there is ink in the cartridges, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.

  • Check Ink Levels: Even though there may be ink in the cartridges, they could be low or dried out. Check the ink levels through your printer's software interface or on the printer's control panel.
  • Clean Print Heads: Print heads can become clogged or dirty, preventing ink from properly flowing onto the paper. Most printers have a built-in utility for cleaning the print heads. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to run this cleaning process.
  • Align Cartridges: Misaligned cartridges can cause blank pages to be printed. Your printer should have an alignment utility that you can run to ensure the cartridges are properly aligned.
  • Check for Paper Jams: Even if the printer isn't indicating a paper jam, there may be a small piece of paper stuck inside the printer. Open the printer and check for any obstructions along the paper path.
  • Update Printer Drivers: Outdated or corrupted printer drivers can cause printing issues. Make sure your printer drivers are up-to-date by visiting the HP website and downloading the latest drivers for your printer model.
  • Use Genuine Ink Cartridges: Using third-party or refilled ink cartridges may not always work well with your printer and could lead to printing problems. Make sure you're using genuine HP ink cartridges.
  • Reset Printer: Sometimes, resetting the printer to its factory settings can resolve various issues. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to perform a factory reset.

By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot and hopefully resolve the issue of your HP printer printing blank pages.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
