I’m trying to print on my HP Envy 5640 printer. When I print the quality reports it prints fine, and I have done the clean print heads and align multiple times. But, when I print using 4x6 photo paper in the photo tray, it comes out with a heavy blue tint to it. My black and color ink cartridges are about 75% full. No filter is applied, and if I print the photo on plain paper it works perfectly fine. I’m using the HP Smart App and I’ve also tried printing directly from my camera roll

Welcome to the HP English Community --

Perhaps try some different photo paper.

Paper might be too dry, too damp, old, or otherwise not suitable.

What?

If the printer is able to print the photo on regular paper, this generally means the printer can print as expected.

If you cannot (will not) replace the paper to try something different,

HP Smart and other software programs allow you to Adjust the color.

What else?

Microsoft Photos also includes the Adjust feature.

For reference this is authentic HP 4x6 glossy photo paper and it’s the second set I’ve used, this current paper I’m using was just purchased yesterday and was sealed so I don’t think it’s the paper.

OK, good - not the paper.

It was worth the few words to ask / check.

Should I think of anything useful, I will post back.
