Scanning double sided copies and the pages are scanning ok, but every other page is scanning upside down. When I try to use the app to turn the page, it will not let me choose which pages i want to turn (it turns the whole doc).
How can I scan my docs so the pages come out right side up?
Thank you,

Thank you for joining HP Forums.}
I'll be glad to help you 🙂
As I understand the Printer scans/prints the second side upside-down,
Don't worry as I have a few steps that'll help, however, before we proceed I'll need a few more details:
Did you know that WinXP is no longer supported by HP? the reason I brought that up is because we may not find much on an obsolete program,
When was the last time it worked? did you attempt a system restore to revert back to a time it had been working?
That said, I'll try my best to help you, I suggest you attempt the below steps:
To change printing preferences, you must have the Print permission, which is one of several printer permissions For more information, click Related Topics.
1.Open Printers and Faxes
2.Right-click the icon for the printer you are using, and then click Printing Preferences.
3.On the Layout tab, under Print on Both Sides, click one of the following options:
• None to print on only one side of the paper.
• Flip on Long Edge to print on both sides of the paper with pages that are bound on the left edge.
• Flip on Short Edge to print on both sides of the paper with pages that are bound on the top edge.
Install any updates available for your printer driver,
Then, to print in Word, go to the layout submenu in print preview, and select long side binding or Flip on Long Edge to print without issues.
