I have a HP OfficeJet 5252 Printer. The Printer shows as connected to wireless (blue light is continuous), HP Smart on computer shows printer as Ready, connection status as Active, but when I try to print I get a message "printer offline". I have re entered the connection information several times with the correct system info and password.

Hi @RichM234,
Please find the next set of steps below.
5. Run HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows Only)
- Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor tool to diagnose and fix common printing issues.
6. Check Network Connection
- Ensure the printer and computer are on the same wireless network.
- Check your router settings to ensure it is not blocking the printer's IP address.
7. Assign a Static IP Address to the Printer
- Access your printer's network settings through its control panel.
- Assign a static IP address to avoid IP conflicts and improve connection stability.
8. Check for Firmware Updates
- Ensure your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can check for updates through the printer's control panel or the HP Smart app.
9. Disable SNMP Status (Windows Only)
- Windows: Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners. Select your printer, click "Manage", then "Printer properties". Go to the "Ports" tab, select your printer's port, and click "Configure Port". Uncheck "SNMP Status Enabled" and click OK.
