I purchased an HP3830 today--had no trouble setting it up. When printing docs it looks like the papaer is skipping lines, and there are horizontal white lines across document

The troubleshooting steps in the document here may help resolve print quality issues on your Deskjet 3830 printer.  You might also try removing and reseating the print cartridges.

Hello--thanks for the response. Turns out the "Set-Up" cartridge included in the box contained very little ink. I changed it out and that resolved the issue!
