Printer stuck on HP logo barPrinter stuck on HP logo bar

Tried all the suggestions to reboot the printer several times, but to no avail. Unplugged, waited, tried to reboot, but just gets stuck on HP logo screen, no other lights are showing on the display. I can see that others have asked this question, but unable to see the answer to solve it, as been sent in a private message...help

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 
It looks like your HP Color LaserJet Pro 3201dw printer is stuck on the HP logo screen during boot-up. Since you've already tried rebooting and power cycling without success, here are some additional troubleshooting steps you can try:

Step 1: Perform a Forced Firmware Recovery

  1. Download the Latest Firmware
    • Visit HP official support website: HP Support.
    • Search for "HP Color LaserJet Pro 3201dw" and locate the firmware section.
    • Download the latest firmware update file.
  2. Prepare a USB Drive
    • Format a USB drive to FAT32.
    • Copy the downloaded .rfu firmware file to the root directory of the USB.
  3. Enter Firmware Recovery Mode
    • Turn off the printer.
    • Insert the USB drive into the printer's USB port.
    • Press and hold the Back (↩) and X (Cancel) buttons simultaneously.
    • While holding the buttons, turn on the printer.
    • Keep holding the buttons until the firmware update screen appears.
    • If the update process starts, wait for it to complete.

Step 2: Perform a Full Reset

If the firmware update doesn’t resolve the issue, try resetting the printer:

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Press and hold the Home button and X (Cancel) button together.
  3. While holding the buttons, power on the printer.
  4. Continue holding until a reset or recovery menu appears.
  5. Select "NVRAM Initialization" or "Full Reset" (if available).
  6. Wait for the printer to restart.

Step 3: Check for Hardware Issues

  • Disconnect all network cables (Ethernet, USB) and restart the printer.
  • Plug the printer into a different power outlet.
