PLEASE HELP!
My printer suddenly stopped working halfway through a printing job.
I have removed the power cord and shut the printer down on multiple occasions with no luck whatsoever.
I have used the "HP print & scan doctor" & the program show that the printer is 'working' (no problem identified)
What do I do?

Hi @isaachar,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Step 1: Power Reset the Printer
Even if you’ve done this, let’s try it exactly like this:
- Turn the printer off.
- Unplug the power cord from both the printer and the wall outlet.
- Wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord directly into a working wall outlet (not a power strip or surge protector).
- Turn the printer back on.
Step 2: Check the Printer’s Status
- Make sure there are no error messages or blinking lights on the printer’s control panel.
- Ensure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
- You can check this by printing a Network Configuration Report from the printer.
Step 3: Set the Printer as Default
Sometimes Windows switches the default printer:
- Open Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners.
- Select your HP Envy 6130e.
- Click Set as default.
Step 4: Cancel All Print Jobs
Clear out any stuck print jobs:
- Go to Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners.
- Select your HP Envy 6130e.
- Click Open print queue.
- Right-click and cancel all print jobs.
- Try printing again.
Try these steps and keep me posted
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
