Our Officejet Pro 9022 will not print photos onto photo paper without the paper jamming.  We’ve followed the instructions to the letter but to no avail.  We use HP software on iPhones/iPads.  This is the first time we’ve had issues with printing photos via HP printers, this one being the third or fourth one we’ve owned.  Please can anyone help?

Welcome to the HP User Community.

If you've had these printers for years, you are likely familiar with what there is available.

Clean Printer

These printers (HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 - 9020 series) like to be kept clean.

Any sign of dirt and Poof!  Sticky printer path.

Printer is manufactured to use HP paper.

Printer will also use most high-grade brands of paper in the sizes, types, and print surfaces supported for HP paper.

Avoid low-quality printer paper.

Photo paper is supported as indicated in the Specifications

For example, photo paper weight 220 to 280 gsm.

Borderless photos can be printed on A4 photo paper (that also meets the weight and print surface specs).

>>> Tray and Paper Management <<<

HP Smart Mobile requires that you adjust the paper size and type before you open the content to be printed.

Printer Hardware

No Joy..."All else fails"

The Printer hardware might be stuck beyond what can be done with the tools we (not-HP) can offer.

If all else fails, an agent can recommend further steps to Reset the hardware.
