Printer without a printer reset function

Product: OfficeJet 8600 all in one
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

I get a Printer error message after completely clearing the a paper jam and there are NO ink cartridge issues.   How can I clear the "printer failure" error when my officeject does not have a printer reset feature?  Any hacks that actually work.   I have viewed many you tube videos to no avail.

@KAYE_123, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

This seems like a hardware issue with the printer. If you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - 'Printer Failure' Error, and the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

 

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
