I had an error code 0xc19a0028 show up on the printer. I shut it off, in hopes of it fixing itself by restarting. However, now the printer won't turn on at all. It's like it isn't getting power. It's not the outlet as I've plugged other electronics in it to make sure it was getting power.
I've already tried the suggested troubleshooting steps, "
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle."
What else could I try?

Hi @Joy170,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
I appreciate your efforts in trying to resolve this issue by performing the necessary troubleshooting steps.
Since you have already tried the possible troubleshooting, this could be a hardware issue.
However, Perform a power reset on the printer.
- Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet - Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
If this does not work, the printer needs to be checked for hardware issues via phone support.
