Welcome to the HP Community --
Perhaps the router, the network, or the printer connection is confused (hung, wrong, stuck).
If you wish to do so,
Consider / Try the following...
Log into your router,
If Mac Address filtering is switched on,
Check the list of connected and allowed Mac Address / IP address combinations.
If you find a mis-matched Mac / IP address pair remove it > Save the Changes > Reboot the router
Log into your router,
Assign the correct Mac Address / IP address pair you want to use for the device.
Save the changes -
Reboot your router -
Try to connect your printer
OR
Log into your router
If Mac Address filtering is switched OFF,
Switch on Mac Address filtering -
Add your printer's Mac Address / IP address pair to the list of allowed devices -
Save the changes -
Reboot the router -
Connect your printer -
If the connection is successful -
Log into the router -
Switch OFF Mac Address filtering -
Save the changes -
Reboot the router -
Try connecting the printer
