I have an officeJet 5252 printer. When I print a PDF, I can select double sided printing and the binding option yet it still prints single sided. If I print from word or another program, it prints double sided. It just won't do PDFs. I am using a MacBook. Thanks!

Hi @aak1100,

I'd like to help!

The printer supports Automatic Duplex printing of letter; Legal; Executive.

Follow the below instructions -

Print double sided documents on Mac

  1. Open the document you wish to print double-sided on the Mac, it can be opened in Word, an Office app, Pages, a PDF in Preview or Safari, or something similar
  2. Go to the “File” menu and choose “Print” as usual
  3. Under the ‘Layout’ section look for “Two-Sided”
  4. Pull down the “Two-Sided” dropdown menu, choose either “Long-Edge binding” or “Short-Edge binding” as appropriate for your needs (the default setting is typically set to ‘off’ or ‘none’ if your last print job did not use this feature)
  5. Choose to “Print” as usual, adjusting any other options as necessary

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
