Product: HP OfficeJet 3830 All-in-One Printer

Hi.  My printer worked, then it didn't.  It won't print black ink and I've just installed a brand new, factory ink cartridge.    I've turned the printer off and on.    I read other places there is a "secret" menu that may help me fix this.   Any help appreciated.
