My wireless printer won't stop printing the same thing over and over again. I tried to cancel all the printing numerous times however it still keeps on going. At this rate I wasted so much paper and ink. Please help.

Welcome to HP Support Forums.
Thanks for reaching out to us on HP Support Forums.
I understand that you have an HP ENVY 4520 All-in-One Printer and it continuously keeps printing. You have tried to cancel the print jobs but the printer still continues to print. Not worry, I'll do my best to help you.
Please remove all the paper out so that no more paper is used by the printer until this issue is fixed.
I would like to know the following information to assist you better:
- Did you try to restart the printer and check if that helps?
- Did any software changes or updates happen for the printer recently?
- What operating system are you using?
I recommend you to perform the following steps to isolate the issue and arrive at a fix:
- Disconnect the power cable from the printer while the printer is still ON.
- Disconnect any other cables if connected the printer.
- Press and hold the printer’s power button for 15 seconds.
- The printer should be directly connected to the wall outlet and not to a surge protector.
- Reconnect the power cable to print and the printer should power ON by itself. If the printer doesn’t power ON then please manually power it ON.
Please download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor software. This is a free tool for Windows to help resolve issues with the printer drivers.
If the printer continues to print then I suggest you to reset the printer. This will restore the printer to its original factory condition. If the printer is connected to a wireless network then it will get disconnected and you will need to reconfigure it again. I have sent you a private message with the reset steps.
I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. Please let me know how it goes. Good luck! 🙂
