We run a tutoring business where we generate multiple choice answer sheets.

Two weeks ago both printers stopped printing these sheets, they both print other applications such as MS apps, but both have stopped printing these papers.

We have 2 HP Officejet Pro 8025e, both were fine, both printed not both have stopped.

Has there been an update to drivers that stops this type of print.

we were in the instand ink sub process but cancelled and buy when we need ink.  is this the reason.

I now have 2 printers that dont work for the purpose intended, im sure there must be a driver or box we need to tick but we;re not technical so HELP .

Hi @Garbo11,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check for Driver Updates:

  • Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date. Visit the HP Support website to download the latest drivers for HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e.

Test Printing Other Document Types:

  • Try printing different formats from SQL applications, or convert your multiple choice answer sheets to PDF format as a test to determine if the issue persists with the specific file type.

Review Printer Settings:

  • Check printer settings both on your computer and within the printer interface. Ensure nothing specific in the settings is preventing SQL document prints, such as paper size or layout configurations.

Reinstall the Printer:

  • Remove the printers from your system's settings and reinstall them using the latest drivers. This may clear any configuration issues.

Check Application-Specific Issues:

  • Identify if there are updates or configuration changes in the SQL application you're using to generate the answer sheets. Compatibility issues could prevent printing.

Reset Printing System:

  • On a Windows or Mac system, sometimes resetting the printing system can solve irregularities. Ensure you back up your settings before doing this.

I hope this helps.
