The printer was working fine until yesterday. I got error msg 0xc19a0015 "The printhead appears to be missing, not detected, or incorrectly installed". Searched all troubleshooting instructions and followed directions. Still have the error msg. I have not purchased new ink cartridges yet. I reset power, reseated cartridges, cleaned power strips, etc. I also made sure I had the current firmware. Any other instructions I can try besides buying new cartridges?

I understand you are not able to print. Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Code Displays and Error Indicates Faulty Printhead
If the error persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure. Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
