Cleaning printhead solution - where and with what

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips. Thank you for posting your query. I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂 

 

To clean the printhead, use an automated tool from the printer control panel. Follow the steps below:  

  1. Load plain white paper into the tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, swipe the display to scroll to Setup, and then touch the Setup icon .

  3. Swipe the display to scroll to Printer Maintenance, and then touch Printer Maintenance.

  4. Touch Clean Printhead.

  5. A test page prints.

If the quality of a printed document or photo is not as expected, the procedures in this document should help with streaked or faded printouts, color or black ink not printing, documents with blurred or fuzzy text, ink streaks or smears, and other print quality problems:  Click here
