Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 6978

I set up my printer, a HP OfficeJet Pro 6978 and printed a few test pages. I was alerted that the inks were low so I installed all new inks (color and black) correctly. Print quality was horrible so I followed the advice of another forum to run maintenance to check for updates and clean the printheads. I ran all three cleaning sessions and now it prints blank pages. The inks are full, vented properly, and installed correctly. It will not let me copy either.

If you have already performed the steps from the document Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
