Hi @Sh1996,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your printer is giving you an "Error Printing" message when trying to print PDF files, here are some steps to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Check Printer Status

  • Make sure your printer is turned on and connected to your computer or network.
  • Ensure there are no error lights or messages on the printer display.

2. Restart Devices

  • Restart your printer and computer. Sometimes, a simple restart can clear up errors.

3. Update Printer Drivers

  • Outdated drivers can cause printing issues:
    1. Go to Device Manager on your computer.
    2. Find your printer, right-click, and select Update driver.
    3. Alternatively, visit the manufacturer’s website to download the latest drivers.

4. Check PDF File

  • Test printing other PDF files to see if the issue is with that specific document.
  • If the PDF is large or complex, try reducing its size or complexity.

5. Use a Different PDF Reader

  • If you’re using Adobe Acrobat Reader, try printing the PDF from another PDF reader (like Foxit Reader or your browser) to see if the issue persists.

6. Print as Image

  • In Adobe Acrobat Reader, you can try printing the PDF as an image:
    1. Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
    2. Go to File > Print.
    3. Click on Advanced and check the box for Print as Image.
    4. Click OK and try printing again.

7. Clear Print Queue

  • If there are stuck jobs in the print queue, they might cause issues:
    1. Open Devices and Printers.
    2. Right-click your printer and select See what’s printing.
    3. Cancel any pending print jobs.

8. Check for Windows Updates

  • Ensure your operating system is up to date, as updates can sometimes fix printing issues.

9. Reinstall Printer

  • If the problem persists, uninstall and then reinstall your printer:
    1. Go to Devices and Printers.
    2. Right-click on your printer and select Remove device.
    3. Re-add the printer by following the prompts.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
