@KDL911, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Offline Printer Issues for HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e shows as offline when trying to print documents from the web, even though it prints fine from your computer, here are some steps to troubleshoot and potentially solve the issue:

Check Printer Connection:

  • Ensure that your printer is properly connected to the network. If using Wi-Fi, make sure the connection is stable.
  • Restart your printer and router to refresh the network connection.

Set Printer as Default:

  • On your Windows 10 system, go to Start > Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Click on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e and make sure it is set as the default printer.

Disable Offline Mode:

  • In the Printers & scanners section, select your printer and then click Open queue.
  • Under the Printer menu, make sure the Use Printer Offline option is not checked.

Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor. It is a free tool that helps diagnose and resolve printing and scanning problems.

Update Firmware and Drivers:

  • Ensure that your printer's firmware and drivers are up to date. Visit the HP Software and Driver Downloads page, enter your printer model, and download any available updates.

Check the Web Browser:

  • Try printing from a different web browser to determine if the issue is browser-specific.

Firewall and Security Software:

  • Temporarily disable any firewall or security software to check if they are blocking the network printing capabilities.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

I have given up.  I have tried all solutions and nothing works.  Now I get an error message that says something serious is wrong.

So I just purchased a new printer and will junk this one
