Hi there.
I recently purchased this printer specifically to be abel to print on 11 x 17 (Tabloid/Ledger). Any advice on how to get the paper trays to adjust size to accomodate this size?
I've referred to the manual (it shows how to load legal), have tried expanding the trays to fit the width of 11 inches.
Do I need to purchase an additional tray to be able to print on 11 x 17?
Thanks so much for any guidance.

Hi,
To print on such sizes you need a wide format printer, the Envy 7640 do not support any wide format paper sizes...
The printer supports up to 8.3 x 13.8 in paper, which is quite smaller than you need, you may find the pritner specifications below:
Maximum print area - 209.9 x 349.6 mm (8.3 x 13.8 in)
You cannot print on such paper which is quite larger than your printer's tray, nor additional accessories will help, your printer do not meet your needs and you will need to get a different model for a such... I suggest checking for any option to return the printer and get a different model which meet your needs through the retailer...
The HP Officejet 7510 or the HP Officejet Pro 7740 models offer such capabilities as example and would be at quite similar price range as the Envy 7640..:
