I have printed on parchment paper with this printer a number of times previously. Now I can't get it to print on the parchment. It runs it through and sounds like it is printing but comes out blank. I printed the image to regular paper to make sure there wasn't some other problem and it prints.

Thank you,

The printer does not "officially" support parchment paper -- at least not that I can find inSpecifications > Paper Handling

The following suggestions may be helpful in context:

If you have been printing on the parchment previously, I would guess that you had selected a different Media type (kind of paper) than the type that is currently set / selected in Printing Preferences / Properties.

Depending on the size and the weight of the parchment paper, you might get away with selecting Media type "card" (for example if the paper is a supported size for card AND the weight of the parchment is heavier than normal paper).

You MIGHT even get away with selecting Media type photo paper, though some printers are fussy about detecting photo paper -- your printer may be one of these.

It is  not likely that you have used Custom Paper size without being aware of it (the form must be created manually for the custom size).

Nonetheless,

IF your parchment is heavier than normal paper,

The parchment paper still falls within the specifications weight limit (gsm) for "card",

The parchment paper is not one of supported Index card sizes in the Specifications,

You can create a custom form (from one of the supported Index card sizes) for your parchment paper.

Creating Custom Paper Sizes

Custom Form:

Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers >

Left-Click on your Printer one time to highlight >

Left-Click Print Server properties
