Hi,

My documents only start printing two thirds down the A4 page. I've re installed software and tried all the auto fix software. No help. The printer is out of warranty so HP want money to help. Anyone had this?

I understand the printer does not print complete page, I'd like to help resolve the issue

 

Please help me with the below information-

 

1) Does the copy print out the same way? 

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or devices? 

3)What device are you using the printer with, a Windows computer, Mac, Android or an iPhone?

4)What is the ink level on the cartridge?

 

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic page

  1. Load plain white paper in the paper tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, touch the Settings icon , and then touch Tools.

    The Tools Menu displays.

  3. Touch Print Quality Report.

    The printer prints the Print Quality Diagnostic report

3)What device are you using the printer with, a Windows computer, Mac, Android or an iPhone? WINDOWS 10 PC

4)What is the ink level on the cartridge? HIGH

Print quality diagnostic page fine. I thought it might be that I'm using wireless so I went USB and it's still the same. 

I'll add a shot of the back of a print.

Clean the ink cartridges

  1. On the printer control panel, touch the Settings icon .

  2. Touch Tools, and then touch Clean Printhead. The printer cleans the printhead, and then prints a test page.

  3. Check the print quality of the test page.

    • If the print quality is good, touch Done.

    • If the print quality is not good, touch Clean Again. The printer cleans the ink cartridges again, and then prints another test page.
