Hi,
I've been experiencing printing problems. There are three things:
1, Web Services amber light keeps blinking
2, Printer cartridge registered as empty which is incorrect
3, Driver is unavailable
4, HP Instant ink registering as Offline
I'm very confused to what is exactly is happening.
For printer cartridge I'm certain that it's the right ones. I even printed in colour initially but now it's not recognising the signals.
With Driver unavailbility, I have downloaded HP EasyStart 3 times and set it up using USB and then took it out. It reported this as connected and fine. But when I go to my computer settings it says that the driver is unavailable.
Then on my HP Smart it says my printer is offline which I don't really understand when I have gone through the set-up a few times.
I initially was signed up to the instant ink system but opted out. I don't know if that's why it's not working. I'm quite frustrated with this problem and considering buying a new one. So this is my last resort here.
Please could someone help! Thanks

Hi,
can you see the blue wifi light solid lit or blink?
Assuming the printer is connected to your wireless network, open Windows Explorer and select Network.
Can you see the HP Deskjet 3700 printer listed there?
If so, right-click it and select Show Printer Homepage.
Within the Tools tab, what exact error is shown for the cartridges?
I initially was signed up to the instant ink system but opted out.
Are you still using HP Instant Ink or have you cancelled the service? when canceling the service HP Instant Ink cartridges stop working and need to be replaced with standard ones.

Hi,
Thanks for the swift reply. I followed instructions and it came up with a blank page.
Re ink - I had opted out of instant ink from October onwards and have been able to print since. You are right, I've just checked my ink cartridges are from instant ink. Why am I not able to use them?
Am I able then to opt in instant ink to use these cartridges then opt out when I see fit? The problem I had with it was that it kept ordering me ink when I hadn't finished using mine.
Please advise.
Thanks.

thanks for clarifying @staceyng,
Please open any other browser such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome or Firefox and type 192.168.0.15 into the address bar, then press enter.
Can you access the printer homepage from any other browser?
regarding the ink cartridges, when cancellingHP Instant Ink Cartridges the supplied cartridges stop working at the end of the billing cycle and must be replaced, those must be returned to HP as clearly listed below.
Using such ink will not be possible and will result an HP Instant Ink issue which is indicated by such an amber light:
HP Instant Ink cartridges do not work after the end of your current billing period, and you are required to return them to HP. To continue printing after your billing cycle ends, make sure you have standard replacement ink cartridges ready to use in your printer.

Hi,
Thanks for your advice. I have installed a normal ink cartridge and yipee it works. It's fully functioning, when I type in 192.168.0.15 it looks fine.
The only outstanding problem I have now is that on Word it doesn't register my printer. Luckily I can print because I have plugged my USB lead. Does this mean there is a problem with my wireless printer signal or something?
Be grateful if you could help!
Thanks!
