- I have the E20 series officejet. On my old printer it would let me adjust the size of my letter. A4, Legal smaller using A4 paper. This printer will not print a legal letter. I can't change settings on my mobile basic print app anymore unless I save document and go into HP smart. This is time consuming. I never had this problem with HP envy

Hi @JA0310,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding paper size settings!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
To adjust the settings for printing different paper sizes with an HP OfficeJet E20 series printer, you can use the HP Smart app which provides more comprehensive control over print options compared to the basic mobile print app. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
Download and Install HP Smart App: If not already installed, download and install the HP Smart app from Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
Connect Your Printer: Open the app and connect your HP OfficeJet E20 series printer.
Open Document in HP Smart App:
- Save your document on your mobile device.
- Open the HP Smart app.
- Select the document you want to print.
Access Print Settings:
- When you select 'Print,' you'll find options to adjust print settings.
- Here, you can change the paper size to A4, Legal, or other settings as required.
Print Your Document:
- After adjusting the settings, you can proceed to print your document directly from the HP Smart app.
Although this might seem time-consuming compared to your previous experience with the HP Envy printer, it offers more control over print settings and ensures the document is printed as intended.
I hope this helps.
