I am at my wit's end with HP Smart. Sincerely one of the most unnecessary apps that has somehow managed to make setting up a printer MORE difficult.

After finally going through the lengthy and frankly frustrating process of finally getting all of this set up (and swearing I will never again buy an HP printer after being a pretty faithful HP printer customer for about 10 years now), I'm now facing not being able to print from my PC - which is literally RIGHT next to the printer and connected to the same WiFi network - without confirming it on my phone.

This is after I already disabled the "Require Private Pickup" option, by the way, so no, a canned copy-paste response just won't do.

One possible solution is to use the offline Easystart install from HP Support.
