HP Officejet Pro 8615

HELP :  Printhead error message on my HP Officejet Pro 8615"Printhead seems to be missing,not detected,incorrectly installed or incompatible" but i don't understand because i didn't change my cartridges as they are still full and the printer worked perfectly yesterday !! 

I asked HP they told me i had to buy a new printer !!

Can someone help me ? Thanks

@Dafroots, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

I would recommend you to reset the printing mechanism first.

Below are the steps you can follow:

  • Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

  • Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

  • Wait at least 60 seconds.

  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

  • Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

  • Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

  • Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

If the issue persists, try following the troubleshooting steps from this document.
