I replaced my ink cartridges a week ago and had only printed the alignment page. I pulled these new cartridges out (after about a week) and then re-installed the new cartridges after perhaps thirty minutes. The printer powered up and seemed to be going into the start-up process. But then it showed on the screen this message: "There is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn the printer off, then on. If problem persists, contact HP."There is no error code given, but the problem is still persisting. I have tried to reset the printer multiple times and have gone online to hp.com/support and support.hp.com and tried the suggested solutions listed there to no avail. Can you tell me what the issue is with my printer? It is an Officejet Pro 8600 Premium using the 950 and 951 cartridges but not in any cartridge replacement program. The error message I listed above comes back after every attempt to reset the printer or when I power off my computer and printer and return to use them again, but there is no error code displayed.
